The RTVC is unique in that is has no administrative boundaries as an organisation when considering environmental factors which affect the entire Thames River Basin. It has the expertise with qualified environmental scientists at its disposal. It is an organisation that has a mature network that can provide these studies for the Mayor of London, Statutory Bodies and Organisations, but uniquely, it could do this along the entire length of the Thames, without political bias.
